Each design in Anya Vetrova’s line Vetrova Jewellery, (established in 2017) acts as it’s own vestibule, embodying ideas as old as the materials themselves. She produces modern antiquities to rest easily upon the body. Her foundation in painting is revealed through a minimalist sensibility, creating blunt objects with substantial weight and cursive shapes, all while being designed with a high regard for comfort and wearability.

Vetrova apprenticed under Danish master jeweller Per Wendel Madsen. as such her work demonstrates both exquisite craftsmanship and Danish principles of clean, ergonomics. Each work is created by hand in Vetrova’s workshop on Granville Island, Vancouver, British Columbia.
